UNICEF Funding Opportunity for Climate Startups
The UNICEF Venture Fund is looking to make up to US$100K in equity-free investments to provide early-stage (seed) finance to for-profit technology start-ups that have the potential to address climate change.
If your startup leverages frontier technology such as drones, blockchain, extended reality (XR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or novel data science (DS), we are looking for you. If your product is registered in one of UNICEF’s program countries, is a working prototype, has demonstrated results and is (or could be) open-source licensed, we encourage you to apply.

Nominations Open for Mental Health Award
Wellcome Trust is accepting nominations for Mental Health Award to support the validation of biological, psychological, social, or digital markers to enable stratification in anxiety and/or depression as early as possible. Stratification will allow targeted treatment and ensure that the right people get the right treatment at the right time
Wellcome aims to drive a transformative change in the ability to intervene as early as possible in the course of anxiety and depression, broadly defined, in ways prioritized by the people who experience them.
Women Who Tech’s Startup Grants Program
Tech startups play a pivotal role in helping to solve the world's toughest problems. Yet, only 2% of funding goes to women-led startups. To help address these funding disparities, Women Who Tech has launched a Tech Startup Grants program to fund women-led tech startups focused on solving big problems.
Applications for Women Who Tech's Startup Grants Program are open to women-led startups globally from November 28, 2022 - December 22, 2022. We will be awarding $20K in equity-free grants.
All eligible applications will be reviewed by a panel of jurors comprised of VCs, angel investors, and serial entrepreneurs. Five finalists will be selected to participate in a cohort comprised of a virtual pitch coaching series and an investor pitch. Women Who Tech will award two equity-free grants: one Innovation Grant of $15,000 and one Impact Grant of $5,000.
World’s Best School Prize 2023
The World’s Best School Prizes are awarded to schools that have developed expertise in five key areas including community collaboration, environmental action, innovation, overcoming adversity, and supporting healthy lives. Winning schools will be able to demonstrate outstanding systems, practices, and performance impacting the lives of their students and of the whole community.
We will award the five winning schools with a share of the $250,000 total prize money. Each winner will receive $50,000 to help them expand their work strengthening their school and community.
Open Call for Enterprise Adventure
The Enterprise Adventure is a great way to develop your skills and reach for your dreams! This app is aimed at teenagers (13-19 year-olds) from any country in the world who want to learn about how to set up their own, sustainable business in a fun and engaging way.
You don’t need to have any knowledge or experience in the business. You don’t even need to have a business idea!
On this exciting journey, you’ll get to carry out exciting tasks, grow your Superpowers and learn lots of new things. This app will guide you every step of the way: coming up with lots of business ideas, picking your favorite one, creating your own brand, and making it financially sustainable. After completing all the missions in the app you will have your very own business plan which you can then turn into a reality!
Everyone who completes all the missions of the planning stage and/or the running stage before 11th December 2022 will receive an official certificate and will have the chance to win prizes.
6th Call for Proposals: Responsible Business Fund Myanmar
As a part of the Danish Development Assistance to Myanmar, Denmark has established an additional MMK 2 billion for RBF’s 6th Call for Proposals to function as “a Challenge Fund” to “increase the competitiveness and responsible behavior of Myanmar enterprises” by providing partial grants to SMEs for the implementation of innovative projects in the following Areas:
• Energy Efficiency
• Renewable Energy
Hence if your enterprise has been facing financial constraints that prevent you from undertaking projects in the above-mentioned areas, potentially making your business more responsible/ competitive, RBF can provide Grant support as follows to provide an incentive for you to demonstrate such best practices to the rest of the Myanmar business community.
