Global
End Violence will award up to USD$200,000 to non-profit or for-profit organizations for proposals on innovative solutions that address challenges around age assurance or live streaming of abuse through two modalities:
Tech Solutions: Development of solutions that utilize and implicate technology in innovative, groundbreaking ways that are scalable and globally applicable for addressing age assurance or live streaming of abuse.
Research: Actionable or exploratory research on social and policy questions to better understand the enabling environment as well as address unintended consequences and structural barriers for efficacy and impact of tech solutions that address age assurance or live streaming of abuse.
Submission deadline: March 29, 2023.
RSTMH 2023 Early Career Grants Programme
The purpose of Early Career Grants is to enable early career researchers and global health professionals in the field of tropical medicine or global health to undertake clinical or scientific research and/or fieldwork, either as stand-alone projects or as distinct elements within a larger project. They are for those who have not received a research grant of £5,000 or more in their own name before.
The maximum RSTMH Early Career Grant award is GBP £5,000 including any relevant tax on purchases. One or more awardees may be funded or part-funded by the Denis Burkitt Fellowship Fund. If this is the case, they may ask you to participate in separate award activities.

MIT Solve: Health in Fragile Contexts Challenge
The MIT Solve community is looking for eight technology-based solutions that help maintain access to health care and build health system resilience in fragile contexts. To that end, Solve seeks solutions that:
Increase local capacity and resilience in health systems, including the health workforce, supply chains, and primary care services.
Enable informed interventions, investments, and decision-making by governments, local health systems, and aid groups.
Improve accessibility and quality of health services for underserved groups in fragile contexts around the world (such as refugees and other displaced people, women and children, older adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals).
Enable continuity of care, particularly around primary health, complex or chronic diseases, and mental health and well-being.
Selected solutions will receive a minimum of $10,000 in funding, and much more.

Climate Adaptation and Low-carbon Housing Challenge
The MIT Solve community is looking for eight technology-based solutions that help communities create quality low-carbon homes at scale or adapt to more extreme weather. To that end, Solve seeks solutions that:
Reduce emissions from multifamily housing during construction, operation, and end-of-life while addressing barriers to local adoption.
Support informal communities in upgrading to more resilient housing, including financing, design, and low-carbon materials or energy sources.
Help communities understand and incorporate climate risk in infrastructure design and planning, including through improved data collection and analysis, integration with existing systems, and aligning financial incentives such as insurance.
Adapt land and coastal areas to more extreme weather, including through climate-smart agriculture or restoring natural ecosystems.
Selected solutions will receive a minimum of $10,000 in funding, and much more.

(ISC)² Women’s Cybersecurity Scholarship
(ISC)2 is now accepting applications for its Women's Cybersecurity Scholarship, which aims to inspire women to enter the field of Information Security, which is on the rise. (ISC)² Women’s Scholarships are Administered by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education.
Awards:
Up to ten scholarships will be awarded. Each scholarship award will be between $1,000 – $5,000
If awarded: the funds will be sent to the school with instructions that they are applied to tuition, fees, and books. Recipients do NOT receive award funds.
Awards do not renew. You will need to reapply each year in order to be considered for another award.

Foodtech Innovations Awards recognizes the most innovative proposals that offer a disruptive approach to Customer Experience or Management. Innovative business models or technology that can make a change in the food sector.

Tata Social Enterprise Challenge for India (Seed Funding Available)
The Tata Social Enterprise Challenge is a joint initiative of the TATA Sons with the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) started in 2012. The Challenge (B-Plan Contest) endeavors to identify, reward, and support India’s most promising early-stage social enterprises, and create an ecosystem for social entrepreneurship – encouraging sustainable, scalable, and measurable social impact.
Benefits:
Cash Reward: Cash reward upto Rs. 10 Lakhs for the winner, 1st and 2nd Runner-ups
Incubation: The teams which make it to the grand finale will be given an opportunity to apply for incubation at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.
Seed Fund: Teams shortlisted for the Final will have an opportunity to pitch for Seed Funding of up to Rs 1 Crore (subject to fulfilling investment criteria and completion of final due diligence).
Capacity Building Programs, Mentoring & Business Support: Knowledge sessions, mentoring, pilot/market connect, and collaboration opportunities will be provided to all shortlisted teams for the Final Round.
Pitching Opportunity: All teams shortlisted for the Final Round will have an opportunity to pitch to some of India’s largest Impact Investors for further seed funding.

S$20,000 for Your Digital Social Impact Enterprise Idea
The Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) Global is a six-month program that inspires, equips, and enables youth of different nationalities to start or scale up their social enterprises in Singapore and beyond.
Successful teams with a viable and innovative business solution to a social issue will gain access to an international ecosystem of investors, industry experts, experienced mentors, and a growing network of more than 1,400 young changemakers representing 43 nationalities.
They will learn about social innovation trends and market insights from the region. Shortlisted teams will stand a chance to start or scale up their social enterprises with up to S$20,000 in funding.

Techo Startup Center Digital Platform Accelerator cohort 2 (Cambodia)
Digital Platform Accelerator cohort 2 is a 16-week program designed to support digital startups that can offer innovative digital platforms that MSMEs can embark on digital adoption in their business operation. They are looking for digital startups beyond the concept stage (preferably with functional prototypes or MVPs) who can provide innovative digital solutions/services for MSMEs (B2B).

Farms of the Future Grants Program – Australia
The Farms of the Future program aims to facilitate tech-enabled production and monitoring through improved connectivity and installation of sensor equipment which support increased productivity, competitiveness, job creation, and sustainable use of resources in the selected agricultural sectors: Cotton, Livestock (sheep and beef), Grains and Horticultural (tree crops and vines).
Grant amount: Up to $35,000.
Submission deadline: August 31, 2023.
Blue Action Fund - Open Call for Proposals Asia-Pacific Region (Pdf)
This Call for Proposals is part of a continuing series of such Calls by Blue Action providing individual grants to NGOs for conservation projects in developing countries that have the following dual focus:
Newly established, expanded, or better-managed marine protected areas (MPAs) or networks of MPAs that result in biodiversity conservation, and
Enhanced livelihood conditions and food security.
Blue Action expects to award grants from this Call with a total volume of around EUR 20 million. Eligible applicants are NGOs with proven experience in coastal and marine conservation and sustainable livelihood development in the area. NGOs must provide match funding of at least 25% of the total project costs.

U.S. Embassy Call for Proposals in Italy: Climate, Democracy, Countering Disinformation
The United States Embassy is pleased to announce the 2023 Annual Program Statement (APS). The APS makes funding available for cultural and exchange programs that strengthen ties between the United States and Italy, highlight shared values, and promote bilateral cooperation.
Priority Program Areas Are:
Climate: Proposals in this area should promote cooperation and seek to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change.
Democracy, and Democratic Values: Proposals in this area should strengthen respect for international human rights norms within Italy.
Transatlantic Security: Proposals in this area should support and advance cooperation and shared interests in the transatlantic relationship between the United States and Italy.
Economic Prosperity: Proposals in this area should promote transparent and rules-based trade, and investment in sustainable growth.
Countering Disinformation: Proposals in this area should increase the target audience’s understanding of and ability to counter Russia and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) disinformation and/or support combating disinformation that undermines faith in democratic governance.
The maximum request for funding will be $50,000. The U.S. Embassy may award smaller amounts than the full proposal, as deemed appropriate. The U.S. Embassy also strongly encourages proposals with cost-sharing.

Cambridge Social Innovation Prize in the UK
The Cambridge Social Innovation Prize recognizes there is a gap for mid-career social innovators. The award targets extraordinary individuals with a proven track record but who could benefit from support to reach the next level. Often, they have been so focussed on their social impact, they have not had time to invest in their own professional development. The Cambridge Social Innovation Prize aims to help these social innovators grow themselves in order to grow their social impact.
The prize includes a £10,000 cash award for personal and professional development: training or further study, meetings and conferences… even a sabbatical or study tour. Mentoring from the Cambridge Social Ventures team here at Cambridge Judge Business School will help to find interesting new connections and new ways to elevate impactful work.

Farming Innovation Programme - large R&D partnerships Round 2
The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) will invest up to £8 million in innovation projects. This funding is part of Defra’s Farming Innovation Programme which is delivered in partnership with UKRI’s Transforming Food Production Challenge.
The aim of this competition is to:
fund industrial research and experimental development projects that will address major on-farm or immediate post-farmgate challenges or opportunities
drive the development and demonstration of commercially relevant solutions with the potential to substantially improve overall productivity, profitability, and environmental sustainability
support the development of scalable solutions that can be taken up widely, be integrated into existing production systems, and have a widespread impact
accelerate research development of new solutions by actively engaging collaboration between the agri-food sector and the wider UK research community in the innovation process.
Submission deadline: April 19, 2023.
Middle East and Africa
Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI)
With the support of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), UNESCO-TWAS launched a new program to strengthen the capacity of African countries lagging in science and technology. The program is aimed at young scientists who are getting established in their country or are about to return home to an academic position.
SG-NAPI Grants are awarded to high-level promising research projects in Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Information Computer Technology, Mathematics, Medical Sciences, and Physics carried out by Principal Investigators (PI) in African countries lagging in science and technology identified by TWAS.
Research Grants to research units amount to a maximum of USD 67,700. The grants, which are normally provided for a period of 24 months, may be used to purchase scientific equipment, and consumables, which can include fieldwork partially and maintenance of equipment and specialized literature (textbooks and proceedings only).

Call for Proposals: Innovation for Ecosystem Restoration: LatAm 2023
The Innovation for Ecosystem Restoration: LatAm 2023 will address some of the most pressing challenges facing ecosystem restoration entrepreneurs in LatAm, including support for developing ecosystem restoration and a lack of access to investment capital. The goal is to deliver a catalytic accelerator for entrepreneurs championing ecosystem restoration throughout LatAm.
