TVARAN: Accelerating Women Entrepreneurs driving Climate Resilience
TVARAN is a market access program by Villgro and an initiative by Cisco Corporate Social Responsibility. The program intends to support the growth and expansion of Women-led social enterprises in Climate Action.
Applicants will be invited to share their Go-To-Market plans, basis which 5 women entrepreneurs will be selected for market connects, pilot/trial facilitation, technical assistance, and mentorship jointly by Villgro and Cisco Corporate Social Responsibility.
The 6-month acceleration phase will begin in February 2023 and will accelerate the market presence of innovations in renewable energy, water & waste management, and climate-smart agriculture, amongst others.
Girls in Tech Startup Challenge 2022
The Girls in Tech Startup Challenge has helped many female founders access funding, mentorship, and media exposure over the last 8 years.
And perhaps more importantly – it’s given them the nudge they needed to properly ideate, map out, and prepare their product for launch to market!
Finalists get cash prizes to help them grow and launch the business, while all submissions benefit from exposure to the VC community and mentoring.
Open Call: Apple Entrepreneur Camp for Female Founders

Applications are accepted from developers worldwide and up to three members of your organization may attend. To be eligible to apply:
Your organization must have:
A female* founder, cofounder, or CEO;
A female developer proficient in Swift or Objective-C; and
An existing app on the App Store or a functional beta built in TestFlight or the equivalent.
The female founder, cofounder, or CEO; the female developer; and another colleague (if applicable) must each be 18 years of age or older, proficient in English, and able to attend together for the entire duration of the lab.
USAID Energy Secure Philippines Activity: Women in Energy Leadership, Innovation, and Resilience
The USAID Energy Secure Philippines (ESP) Activity is looking for a Partner that can develop, launch, and sustain innovative actions that strengthen and promote the role of women in energy resilience and security.
USAID ESP has ongoing partnerships with USAID’s Cities Development Initiatives or CDIs namely the cities of Batangas, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Tagbilaran, General Santos, Legaspi, Puerto Princesa, and Zamboanga. However, other LGUs with viable prospects or exemplary initiatives for energy innovation and climate action can also be considered for the grant. Preference will be given to locations with existing USAID projects, not necessarily implemented in the CDI sites.
TechGirls Program: Empowering Girls to be Global STEM Leaders
TechGirls is an initiative of the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, implemented by Legacy International in partnership with Virginia Tech University. The program is designed to empower young girls from around the world to pursue higher education and, ultimately, careers in STEM fields.
A highlight of the program is to collaborate and build lasting friendships with like-minded peers from all over the world who share common interests. TechGirls brings together 15 competitively-selected American young women (ages 15-17) with 111 peers from 35 countries/territories around the world for a 25-day international exchange program focused on the in-depth exploration of applied technology and STEM topics with an 8-month mentoring program (including pre and post-exchange).

UNDEF is a Trust Fund established through voluntary contributions from Member States, under the authority of the Secretary-General. The 17th Round of the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF) has been launched to support projects that strengthen the voice of civil society, promote human rights, and encourage the participation of all groups in democratic processes.

The large majority of UNDEF funds go to local civil society organizations - both in the transition and consolidation phases of democratization. UNDEF-funded projects will be implemented over a period of two years, principally at a country level and in the least developed, low- or middle-income countries.
UNDEF also provides discrete funding to regional and global projects promoting democracy.
