Google for Startups: Cloud Academy to Help Tech Startups in APAC
Google for Startups Cloud Academy APAC is a 12-week training program designed to support 30 promising startups in the Asia-Pacific region to digitally transform their businesses. The program will be offered in English.
Selected startups will attend a series of cohort-based workshops and receive hands-on support across a wide range of topics, including AI, ML, and data analytics. The program provides opportunities to network with other startups and have one-on-one mentoring sessions with Google experts.

MANAGE Agri-Eureka 2023 in India
Applications are now open for the MANAGE Agri-Eureka 2023, a National level Agri Innovation and Business Plan Challenge organized by Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) which intends provide a platform to present innovative approaches & technology solutions to the inherent problems underlying in Agriculture and allied sector in India.

Fall 2023 YSEALI Academic Fellowship (Thailand)
U.S. Embassy Bangkok is now accepting applications for the Fall 2023 YSEALI Academic Fellowship. Candidates from Thailand interested in the topics of Civic Engagement, Environmental Issues, and Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development are invited to apply for this opportunity.
Through cooperative agreements to the host universities, the U.S. Department of State will cover all participant costs, including international travel costs; technology allowances for the virtual program; travel allowances; program administration; domestic travel and ground transportation; book, cultural, mailing and incidental allowances; and housing and subsistence.

Pakistan Private Sector Energy Project to support SMEs in Pakistan
Applicants are currently invited to submit their applications for Pakistan Private Sector Energy Project (PPSE) that targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan, including those located in industrial zones, as well as isolated communities through off-grid energy solutions.
Funding Information:
The investment amount, or investment ask, should lie between US$1 million and US$50 million. This may be disbursed in smaller tranches as requested.
ONLY for energy access and rural electrification projects (clean cook stoves, solar home systems, mini-grids) an exception is made, and the investment ask can lie between US$500,000 and US$50 million. This too may be disbursed in smaller tranches as requested.

2023 PitchFest-4.0 Program in India
FinBlue – A FinTech Centre of Entrepreneurship & Vibrant Start-up Eco-System - is an initiative by STPI at Chennai to help provide resources such as mentoring, technology support and funding for FinTech start-ups. FinBlue offers an integrated program for start-ups to scale up through its incubation facility.
The FinBlue Incubation program includes premium plug and play co-working space for tech start-ups and offers access to the FinTech ecosystem which comprises of user bankers, financial institutions, mentors, investors and a platform to support GoToMarket strategy.

Europe
Interreg Europe: Second Call for Projects Proposals
The Interreg Europe is now inviting proposals for its Second Call for Projects to support the exchange and transfer of experience, innovative approaches and capacity building among public authorities and other policy relevant organizations across Europe with a view to improving their regional development policy instruments including programs under the Investment for jobs and growth goal.
Up to 40% of the overall ERDF budget (approximately EUR 130 million) of the Interreg Europe program is made available for the second call for proposals. The final committed budget will depend on the quality of the submitted applications.

RAPTOR 2023 Competition for Start-ups and SMEs
RAPTOR, an agile innovation sub-project, is compatible with and complements their traditional larger scale projects funded in the Business Plan. Moreover, the internal competition in RAPTOR both promotes the wider urban mobility agenda and draws cutting edge innovators/ SMEs into their community. With the new edition of the RAPTOR program in 2023, EIT Urban Mobility will select up to 12 Applicants from across Europe to develop solutions to niche mobility challenges.

2nd Call for Proposals: Scalable Cities Action Grant
The Scalable Cities Action Grant financially supports cities and ad-hoc partnerships that wish to replicate measures that were successfully implemented through SCC projects to facilitate the transition towards climate neutrality.
The Scalable Cities Action Grant is implemented in collaboration with the European Commission and CINEA. The EC has set out a clear aim for Scalable Cities to deploy wide-scale, innovative, replicable and integrated solutions in the energy, transport, and ICT areas and to trigger large-scale economic investment with a view to transforming the market.
The total envelope available for the present call is 336.000 EUR. The maximum grant amount for one project is EUR 50 000.

Independent Media Program in Kosovo
The U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out program(s) that strengthen and increase the audience share, self-sufficiency, and resilience of Kosovo-based independent media organizations toward mis and disinformation and cyber threats. Award amounts:
Projects proposals with a minimum budget of $80,000 to a maximum of $150,000 will be considered.
Total available funding: $650,000
Submission deadline: March 31, 2023.
Wellcome Data Science Ideathon
The Wellcome Data Science Ideathon is a competition that will have teams compete to propose data science solutions to tackle three urgent health challenges: mental health, infectious diseases, and climate and health.
10 teams will be selected as finalists and will be eligible to win one of the prizes or grants described in 'Prizes and awards'.
Student teams selected as finalists are eligible for cash prizes of up to £3,000 per team member.
Researcher teams selected as finalists are eligible for one-year grants* up to £120,000.

SMES Digital Acceleration Program
The present Call for Proposals (CfP) is launched in the framework of Tourbit Digital Acceleration Program that aims to support, during 10 months, more than 60 tourism SMEs in their digital transformation process and build their capacity to uptake digital and innovative solutions.
By presenting their project of digital transformation, tourism SMEs will have the chance to get funding and to implement it with the support of a mentor/expert/service providers and get access to an international network.
If selected, you will receive a grant of EUR 8,000-9,000 to implement your digitalization project in your company. The grant must be used to fund the support of service providers, such as mentors, consultants, and/or technology/ innovation providers. Participation in the program is completely free.

Middle East and Africa
Open Call: Intercultural TechCamp for Climate Change
The U.S. Embassy Israel is inviting proposals to organize an Intercultural TechCamp for Climate Change, which will bring together young leaders from Morocco and Israel. The program will also provide participants with the necessary tools to expand their knowledge on the topics of climate change and entrepreneurship, which will potentially enable them to launch projects resulting in sustainable job creation around climate action.

Open Africa Power 2023: Call for Applications
Enel Foundation and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) has launched the call for applications for the 2023 edition of the Open Africa Power, the program aimed at empowering women and youth to lead the clean energy transition of Africa. This year the programme will engage up to 150 African students, with at least 50% women, and almost 400 Alumni in a series of professional development and leadership activities provided in partnership with top academic institutions in Italy and Africa.

West African School on Internet Governance Scholarship [15th Edition]
The school is structured as a three (3) day intensive learning program intended to introduce participants to Internet governance (IG) from the global and West African perspectives. The format will include fireside discussions with experts in the field and participation in the Policy and Regulation Initiative for Digital Africa’s (PRIDA) virtual training platform. Certificates will be issued to participants who successfully complete the training. The key areas covered by the program are:
Evolution of the Internet and the history of Internet Governance
Mapping of Internet Governance processes and actors
Classifications of Internet Governance issues (infrastructure, legal, economic and development) from African contexts
In-depth analysis of opportunities and challenges of emerging issues (cybersecurity, digital economy, human rights) from the West African context
A practical exercise on a key Internet Governance issue affecting West Africa

Digital Transformation Grants Program 2023
The Asfari Foundation has announced an open call for the Digital Transformation Grants (DTG) Program to support organizations to enhance their digital presence and delivery, enabling them to grow their impact and sustainability. The organisations should be working in the youth and civil society sectors on one or more of the following themes:

The Foundation will provide up to 10 grants (one-off) of £7,000 each.

Americas
TechSpark Community Engagement Fellowship Grant (United States)
The Microsoft TechSpark Community Engagement Fellowship is a new program for nonprofits to build off the lessons learned from Microsoft TechSpark. Communities will be selected through a competitive open grant application.
Community organizations can apply to receive a mix of contextual technical assistance through in-person and virtual support and funding. Throughout the fellowship, fellows will be guided to select a focus area and build an engagement project from the following topic areas: Digital Access, Computer Science Education, Digital Skilling in Workforce Development, and Digital Transformation.

Apply for Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund (United States)
The Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund invites youth and intergenerationally led organizations to submit proposals for initiatives that are shaping the future of the responsible technology movement. The RT Youth Power Fund aims to support organizations at all stages of development and will issue awards ranging from $25K to $200K.
