Happy Friday!
I hope your week is going well! This week I’ve found a few new funding opportunities for your digital work. LEGO has just announced a massive new fund that is looking for innovative solutions for children. USAID and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are looking to fund tech interventions in agri-tech. The Oxfam Voice Cambodia program is looking for safeguarding digital rights solutions. And there are two new funds for women’s economic empowerment.
I hope these new opportunities help your digital efforts! As always, if you have any funding opportunities you’d like me share, please email me!
Have a great weekend!
Jesse
What’s funding this week…
Safeguarding Our Digital Rights and Digital Citizenship
Through this sudden opportunity grant, Voice Cambodia is calling on Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to undertake a joint action to address specific, unanticipated opportunities to influence policy and inclusive civic education in Cambodia, especially those that could have a ripple effect or that can impact on one or more Voice rightsholder groups in one or more impact themes of Voice.
LEGO Build a World of Play Challenge
For the LEGO ® brand’s 90th anniversary we’re making a commitment to the world’s youngest children by giving out grants worth 900 million Danish Kroner (approx. 143 million USD) to give them the best start in life. The Build a World of Play Challenge is looking for solutions to give children the brightest start.
90 years of insight into play have taught us how powerful play is in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and holistic development. We want to make sure all young children grow up in safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments – where they have everything they need to thrive.
We’re after bold, transformational ideas that focus on young children’s wellbeing and holistic development, while addressing global social issues. To be in with a chance of a grant, your ideas will be impactful, feasible, community-centred, and sustainable.
