Healthy DEvelopments has a fantastic write up of how Cambodia was able to introduce a new ‘on-demand’ digital registration process for its national poverty identification system, IDPoor. The introduction of this tool highlights how local governments and partners had to adapt to the new reality for at-risk communities during the pandemic. The digital tool is an interesting look at how digital services can provide needed support to those at-risk communities.

Call for applications open to scale tech globally with UNDP’s Digital X challenge
Digital X is a Partnerships for Scale Programme that helps innovative technology for good scale globally. The initiative connects UNDP and governments with proven, ready-to-scale solutions to meet urgent digital needs.
Application for the Open Data Day 2022 small grants is now open!
Open Knowledge Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the Open Data Day 2022 Small Grants Application to support organisations hosting Open Data events and activities across the world.
Depending on the types of events, the grant will support selected registered organisations with grants ranging from USD 500 to USD 1000 each. The application deadline is 13th May 2022 and the events supported by the grant should take place from 1st June 2022 until 31st August 2022. The grants will favour work across disciplines, targeted campaigns and advocacy efforts to support the Paris Agreement, local efforts tackling climate change, and using open data for social impact.
EY incubator opens applications for 5th cohort
EY Foundry, the virtual incubator program of multinational professional services firm EY, is now accepting applications from early-stage tech startups for its fifth cohort in Asia Pacific. The program is adding Cambodia, Guam, Thailand, and Vietnam to its scope, which already includes Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Sri Lanka.
